DESPA's experienced team of emergency medical physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants efficiently and effectively manage every aspect of emergency care, including resuscitation, medical emergencies, severe infections, pain relief, fractures, and soft tissue injuries. The DESPA team is prepared with the medical expertise & advanced technology to respond to and treat the most serious injuries and illnesses.

Our Hospital
Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center has the busiest emergency department in the state of Maryland with over 100,000 visits per year. There are over 80 beds in the adult emergency department and there is a separate dedicated pediatric emergency department. Our hospital has broad specialty support including neurosurgery and cardiothoracic surgery as well as 453 inpatient beds. Our group works closely with the hospital and emergency department leadership to optimize our efficiency in providing high quality care in a timely manner.
